Saw something shiny in a tree. Was a cool elegant pane window. We were persistent to try and read the worn paper to register it. Sent an email with a picture of us and the window! Today was extra special as I found this pretty little stained glass window hanging from a tree branch with a sweet message attached. It may not be from my son but it definitely brightened my day. The Sandhills and snow geese were flying into the Platte River for the evening. The crane window will serve as a beautiful reminder of an inspiring moment shared with love for nature and each other!
Ben spied the mossy window on 3/18. He felt a bit greedy taking it, too, but it was too pretty to leave behind. We both love the colors and textures of the piece. It was late afternoon, and although the sun was still high, a large flock of cranes were resting on the river. We spied many other waterbirds, a kingfisher, and multiple Harriers hunting. These last birds ultimately roused the crane contingency to flight.
We will cherish your random acts of art. Thank you for bringing us a smile and a wonderful memory

Found by: TomO on 11/28/2022 at Alon channel from Bde Maka Ska leading to Isles. Comments: First seen hanging from a branch while I was kayaking through the channel, but it was out of reach. I went back later to learn more about this strange looking object. It will spend the season on a Christmas tree, and then perhaps continue its journey into other hands. Window: Window 47, Cupcake

Found by: MasterSergeantUSMC on 7/6/2022 at Edenbrook Conservation Area, Minnesota Comments: I have run this trail many, many times, but this time I was out looking for a new geocache. As I was walking to that area, I spotted this window about 10 feet into the trees (about 200 feet away from geocache). At first, I ignored it thinking it may be a part of something else. But I returned (after finding the geocache) ... and what a great surprise!! I always like these location based games, and this was one I had never heard about. I took this one and it is hanging in my office window, and it is just cool to look at. Thanks so much for providing a spot of joy!

We live up here but are assuming that a visitor from the cities hid it seeing as most of the other windows are located in the twin cities area. So fun to see that a few of them were found in Eden Prairie because my parents grew up there! What a fun project you guys have started, it made our day!
